As a card scheme, JCB does not provide confirmation letters for Acquirer Reference Numbers (ARNs) or Retrieval Reference Numbers (RRNs).
The ARN is a 23-digit number generated when a refund is processed, and serves as proof of the refund. It enables the card issuer to locate the funds in their system, and release them back to the cardholder.
You can find your refund ARN in the Dashboard:
- Sign in to the Dashboard.
- Go to Payments > All payments.
- Search for your refunded payment.
- On the _Payment details _page, under Payment timeline, expand the Refund action to view the ARN.
