You cannot use the Checkout.com Dashboard to refund transactions that are more than one year old. The Dashboard’s search functionality does not display transactions older than 12 months.
Most card schemes enforce a maximum refund window of 365 days from the original transaction date. Once this period has passed, refund requests are automatically rejected at the scheme level.
