You can challenge a dispute by submitting evidence while its status is Evidence required. The card issuer reviews the evidence you submit and decides whether to accept or reject the evidence.
The card issuer's decision is considered final. If you believe the issuer's reason for rejecting your dispute case is invalid, you can escalate to arbitration.
Arbitrations may:
- Incur a significant cost to pursue
- Take a significant amount of time to resolve
- Result in a partial ruling, where you only recover a portion of the disputed amount
