If you lose access to your multi-factor authentication device, follow these steps to reset your MFA settings and reconfigure your account:

Contact your organization's administrator: Ask your organization's IAM admin to reset your MFA settings.

Administrator resets MFA settings: The IAM admin will follow the steps in the Reset multi-factor authentication for another user section to reset your MFA settings.

Reconfigure MFA on your new device: After your MFA settings are reset, set up MFA on your new device using the standard configuration steps for your chosen authentication method.
