Where did the funds in my Payable balance go?

Your Payable balance contains funds reserved from your Available balance for outgoing payments like settlements, payouts, and issuing payments that are in transit.

When these payments clear, that is, the funds are processed and successfully paid out, they're automatically deducted from Payable.

To check what happened to funds in Payable, you need one of the following user roles:

  • Admin

  • A custom role with the View balances permission

  1. Sign in to the Dashboard.

  2. Go to Business account > Balances.

  3. Use the Balance over time graph to identify the date when your Payable balance changed.

  4. Switch to the Balance activity chart and select that date.

  5. Review the Balance activity table to see all financial movements and the specific transactions that cleared from your payable balance. This shows where the funds went - whether to settlements, payouts, or other processed payments.
