Understand your first local time settlement

When you first set your local settlement time zone, the duration of your initial settlement period may differ from the standard 24-hour cycle. This is due to the time difference adjustments between your local time and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Asia-Pacific (APAC) region

  • If you set your local time zone on a Friday, your first settlement will be paid at 5 AM on Monday.

  • This first settlement includes transactions from Friday (adjusted for the time difference to UTC), Saturday, and Sunday.

Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

  • Your first local time settlement is reduced by the time difference to UTC.

  • Example: Dubai has a four-hour difference from UTC, making the first settlement period 20 hours  instead of 24 hours.

US

  • Your first local time settlement is extended by the time difference to UTC.

  • Example: New York, under daylight savings time, has a four-hour difference from UTC, resulting in a 28-hour first settlement period.
