Changes to your settlement time zone in APAC

From September 1, 2025, we’re improving how we show funds movements in your balances and reports.

We’ll roll these changes out to your APAC, Card Payouts and Issuing entities (where applicable) from October 1, 2025. Before we make this change, we strongly recommend aligning your APAC entities’ settlement time zones with their local time zones.

Why do you need to make this change?

Under the new model, we’ll generate settlements the day they’re due to settle to your bank accounts.

As you’re processing in the APAC region, this could cause delays if your settlement time stays as UTC due to local bank cutoffs.

Local settlement time zones will also help align your settlements to your local operations, and let you benefit from enhanced features in the future.

Can I keep my reporting time zone the same as it is now?

If you have centralized reconciliation and would like to keep your reporting time zone as is for date range reports (Financial Actions by Date Range, Balance Breakdown, Balance Reports) you’ll be able to set this separately from the settlement time zone from September onwards.

Your settlement reporting (Financial Actions by Payout ID, Settlement Breakdown, Settlement Statement, Payout Report) will remain generated in your settlement time zone. We’ll contact you again to confirm when we’ve released this functionality.
