Updating your Frames Android SDK to version 4.3.0

Google has announced that effective November 1, 2025, new Android devices will use 16KB memory pages.

To ensure your app continues to run smoothly on these devices, you’ll need to upgrade your Frames Android SDK to version 4.3.0, which includes full support for the new 16KB page size.

If you need additional time to make this update, Google Play has confirmed that you can request an extension for your app until May 31, 2026. After this date, all app updates must be compatible with 16KB memory sizes.Installation steps

  1. Update your app to version 4.3.0. You can find this new version on our GitHub page.

  2. Follow Google's official guidelines to check if your app is affected.

  3. If required, rebuild and release your app to Google Pay with the updated SDK.
