Webhooks are automated messages we send to your server to update you when an event occurs in your Checkout.com account or integration. For example, when you capture a payment or add funds to a sub-account balance.
They provide real-time updates, removing the need for you to poll our API for status updates.
You can create webhooks using the Dashboard or the API.
For a list of webhooks you can subscribe to, see Webhook event types.
Alternatively, if you use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, you can use our EventBridge integration to route events directly to over 20 destinations.
