Delays in transaction processing

Your transaction may appear as Pending without any updates. Delays in processing your transaction can be for several reasons. Common reasons include:

  • Sanctions screening: Every transaction goes through a sanction screening process to ensure compliance with international regulations. This process can delay transactions, especially if additional information is required.
  • Additional information requested (RFI): We may require additional information from the merchant to verify the transaction. Requests for information are sent from the rfi@compliance.checkout.com email address.
  • Incorrect beneficiary bank details: If you are waiting for a payout from Checkout.com, there may be delays if incorrect beneficiary details were provided.
